- 6 brushes, fine to broad — still like new for your next painting
- Color reference card
- Full-size printed reference — shows where every color goes
- Step-by-step guide
1. Set up. Clear a table, turn on a good lamp, open the box. That’s it.
2. Paint by number. Find a number on the canvas, find the matching pot, fill it in. Repeat until the numbers disappear.
3. Hang it. Let it dry overnight. Framed kits go straight on the wall — no trip to the frame shop.
Classic (12×16 in) — Done in a few relaxed evenings. Fits any standard 12×16 frame.
Large (16×20 in) — Two-thirds bigger than Classic. Bigger sections, easier to paint, and a finish that looks like gallery art.
Your order arrives in 6–10 business days, tracked and insured door to door.
Follow it any time on our Track Your Order page — just enter your order number.
60 days to change your mind. If the kit isn’t what you expected, send it back. Full refund.
Run out of paint? We send more, free. Every kit ships with extra. If you still run short, just tell us.

01
Something about filling in a small shape with the right color turns the volume down on everything else.
02
Every color has a number, every shape has a home. All you bring is yourself and some time.
03
The best part isn't finishing. It's the next morning, walking past it, and remembering you made that.

Everything you need to start painting tonight.
Here's what's inside every Escape by Numbers box, and how it works.
Paint that Actually Covers
24-36 Paint Pots
Smooth acrylic that goes on even and stays vibrant after it dries.
How It Works
Each paint pot has a number. Find that number on the canvas and fill it in. Then watch your painting come to life.
6 -Detail-ready brushes.
2x the Brushes
Double what other kits include — so when one wears out, you're not painting with a frayed tip.
Switching colors?
Wipe your brush on a wet napkin first, so the new color stays clean.
Real Cotton & Linen Canvas
Pre-Tinted Numbered Canvas
Lightly pre-colored, so you're never staring at a blank white canvas wondering if you'll finish. Real canvas grip and texture — not thin plastic sheet.
Its easy!
You can't mess this up. Wrong spot? Use the reference sheet included to locate the correct number. Then paint over it with the right color!
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before you start painting.
Will mine actually look good if I've never painted before?
Every section is numbered. Every paint pot is numbered. You match them — the system does the artistic thinking. Most first-timers are genuinely surprised by how good theirs turns out.
How long does a kit take to finish?
A Small takes most people 3–5 hours. A Medium runs 6–10. Most people split it across a few evenings — it becomes the thing they look forward to after a long day.
Is this something I'll actually finish?
The numbered system creates half the pull. Every section finished makes the next one obvious. People who planned on one session end up doing five.
Is the quality worth the price?
Real cotton/linen canvas, high-pigment paint that covers in one coat, brushes that hold their tip start to finish. You'll feel the difference the moment you unroll the canvas.
What if I run out of paint?
Every kit comes with more than you need. If you ever run short on a color, reach out — we'll send a replacement at no charge.
Can I gift this?
It's one of the better gifts you can give — an experience . Arrives ready to open and start. No setup, nothing extra needed.

I think it came out good
I felt that there was an error on the print, small lines all over the large areas.
Canvas is great and the paint goes on very smoothly
loved it, though I do wish the green shades were more distinct - #6 and #7 look very similar in some light
the little bird came out beautiful. tiny sections around the wings but I have steady hands still at 68 haha
bought as a gift for my neighbor whos into birdwatching. she cried a little. worth every penny
Started this one for my mom's birthday, she cried when she opened it.
Lovely picture! Came out amazing!
Took me right at one month, working most evenings after the kids went to bed. The paints in this kit were genuinely better than ones I've used from other companies — covered well in usually one coat, just one or two of the lighter shades needed two. The numbers were small in places but readable with my reading glasses. I cut the smallest brush down to a fine point and it was perfect for the detail work. Hung the finished piece in our bedroom and I love seeing it every morning.
yessss im framing it
Love how the bird looks in the final piece — really beautiful.
Loved every minute of it.
Great way to spend a rainy weekend.
